Background and aim: Scientific articles are the tools which are being considered as the output of organizations. The current research investigates the performance and evaluation of scientific articles published in Academic Center for Education, Culture and Research (ACECR) based on two citation databases WOS and Scopus between 2001 and 2023.
Materials and methods: The study is descriptive-analytical one in which Scientometrics analysis was applied. The research community in this article were scientific articles that Acecr researchers indexed until the time of conducting the research in WOS and Scopus databases. Excel, Bibexcel, and VOSviewer software were used for data analysis.
Findings: The findings illustrated that the number of articles on Acecr in Web of Science is equal to 5272 and in the Scopus database is equal to 9091. The number of articles on Acecr is increasing in both databases. The average number of citations for each document of Acecr articles in the Web of Science database is 16.49 and, in the Scopus, database is 9.56. Also, there is a correlation between the bibliometric indices of ACECR scientific articles in two databases with a value of 0.0935.
Conclusion: Quantitative and qualitative indicators of Academic Center for Education, Culture and Research articles in WOS and Scopus databases have a positive correlation with each other.
